Basic – Economy Efficiency Furnaces

The economy range of Heil furnaces offers energy-saving performance for budget-conscious customers. These single-stage furnaces provide quiet operation while delivering even levels of temperature control thanks to a fixed-speed blower.

These aren't the most advanced furnaces on the market, but they aren't the most basic furnaces either, and at least two of them have secondary heat exchangers for improved efficiency.

Heil’s ultra-low nitrogen oxide emissions furnace also falls into the entry-level tier, so if you're looking for something affordable and environmentally friendly, then Heil has you covered

Better – Moderate Efficiency Furnaces

Heil currently only has one mid-range furnace available, but it offers a competitive heating efficiency ratings of up to 96% AFUE. This is a two-stage furnace that’s ENERGY STAR certified.

It features the same energy-saving performance and quiet operation as the basic tier, but with more power and more perks. It also has dual fuel capabilities, can be used with a compatible thermostat, and is backed by an excellent warranty.

Best – Premium Furnaces

Heil’s premium furnaces offer modulating and two-stage operation, so they have some of the most sophisticated design specifications that HVAC currently offers.

Two-speed and modulating furnaces both promise superior energy efficiency, quiet operation, and temperature consistency compared to standard single-stage furnaces.

All models in this price tier are ENERGY STAR® certified, and are compatible with the Observer® communicating wall control, and are compatible with the Ion System Control. This allows for remote control of the temperature levels and comfort settings within your home.

The G97CMN is part of Heil’s new top-tier Ion series, and it is the most advanced furnace that the brand offers. This model has a great warranty, a reliable direct spark gas ignition, a secondary heat exchanger for reduced fuel and heat loss, and a fully insulated cabinet that improves heat transfer. Recent concerns about air quality and climate change have inspired most HVAC manufacturers to introduce furnace models with ultra-low nitrogen oxide emissions, and the Performance 95 - N95ESU is Heil’s offering in this category. This is a high-efficiency, single-stage furnace with a multi-speed blower motor, and it comes at an affordable price. In other words, this furnace lets you do your part for the environment and keep your home comfortable for less, and all on a budget. One area where this furnace falls short compared to other Heil models, however, is that it doesn’t have a secondary heat exchanger, but that doesn’t stop it from having an excellent efficiency rating and lower NOx emissions than standard furnaces.

Like the Observer, however, the Ion™ System Control is only compatible with Heil’s top-tier Ion series furnaces.

Feature 3 – Rigid Press Joint Heat Exchanger

Whereas most heat exchangers are welded together, RPJ heat exchangers have an interlocking clamshell design that reduces cracks and increases the reliability and longevity of the part.
